Does quarterly pest control plan cost change by city?
Yes. The same job costs more where labor and rent cost more. Here's how pest control prices in the biggest US metros compare with the US typical of $300.

A general plan covers common bugs: ants, roaches, spiders, crickets, silverfish and the like. Each visit treats outside around the foundation and, if needed, inside. Most plans include free return visits if bugs come back between services.
Termites, bed bugs, mosquitoes and wildlife are almost always extra. Some plans include mice; many don't. Ask for the covered pest list in writing.

Compare
Quarterly, monthly or one-time?
Quarterly suits most houses: $100–$300 a visit keeps a barrier in place through the seasons. Monthly ($40–$75 a visit, $480–$900 a year) suits heavy roach problems and apartments. A one-time visit ($150–$550) suits a single problem you don't expect back.
Do the math for your house: if you'd call for help two or three times a year anyway, a plan at about $600 a year usually costs less.
03
What drives the price
Home size, the pests in your area and local labor costs. Prices vary a lot by city: Angi's Phoenix figures put a quarterly visit at $60–$170, against $150–$450 in New York City.
The first visit costs more because it's a full inside-and-out treatment, often with a deeper inspection.

Contract traps to avoid
Plans can run for 12 months, and some make you pay back the first-visit discount if you cancel early. Ask how to cancel, whether you can pause, and whether the price rises after the first year.
